Message are completely different things.....
The sensor is designed to work best at 750 degree's.
The hotter the sensor runs above the designed sweet spot can cause false readings. The hotter the sensor runs the sooner it will fail.
The sensor is designed to work at a max bung temp of 550c.
This does not mean you should run it there.....
If you run the sensor in the downpipe of a Z32 you will likely get false readings and you will likely cause your sensor to fail sooner.
To achieve the optimum operating temp and best readings and the longest sensor life on a Z32 I have found and recommend installing the sensor in the test pipes at least
6 inch's after the downpipe.
